i am trying to talk Indy's dad into taking us to the holiday parade here this coming friday, i think i will show him this picture and see if it helps motivate him. are you going to any holiday parades this year? if so be sure to show us pictures! i love the holidays so much!!
Nee, wij hebben geen feestdagen parades in Nederland, alleen de intocht van Sinterklaas maar dat is geen echte parade. Wij hebben maar 2 parades in Nederland, één met carnaval in februari en één in maart het bloemencorso. Dat is zo gaaf, allemaal wagens met bloemen hele schilderijen op praalwagens helemaal van bloemen! In het zuiden van Nederland hebben ze nog een fruitcorso in september, maar dat is alles wat wij hebben, jammer is dat he? Dus geen foto's van parades met Kerstmannen vanuit Nederland.......
No we don’t have holiday parades in the Netherlands, only the arrival of St. Nicholas but that's not a real parade. We have 2 parades in the Netherlands one is the carnival parade in February and a flower parade in March. That’s so cool, tall floats decorated with flowers, complete pictures made of flowers. In the south part of the Netherlands there is a fruit parade in September, that’s all we have… So you wouldn’t see any pictures of Dutch Holiday Parades on my blog…….it’s a pity isn’t it?
Here in Oregon we have a "rose festival" parade in Portland (thats the biggest city in our state) where all the floats are made of plants. the frame can be metal, but anything that shows on the float must be made from some type of plant flower seed or tree. its truly amazing. they do that in July.
Greetings! about the picture in the profile... what i did for mine was i picked a picture (like the one of you in the sidebar) right clicked and chose properties (down at the bottom) them hilighted the address adn chose copy (for example the address of your sidebar picture is http://photos1.blogger.com/img/66/4277/225/Men-A-men.jpg ) and pasted that into my profile where it says photo url. dont forget you have to completely republish you blog to get it to show up, and then it will only show up in new comments, it isnt retroactive. hope this helps.

Ja dat is bij ons met het bloemencorso dan is de hele wagen van bloemen gemaakt op het frame na.... mooi he.....?
Yes that's the same with our flower parade in March, the whole float is made of flowers except for the frame, beautiful he...?
