Bij Gouda ontstond een verkeersinfarct, zie hier onder de telegraaf.....

Sneeuw!
Our snow may be gone for a bit - it too caused problems with car accidents and falls.
Dog and cat owners like a freeze because it kills off many lice and ticks in a place like here.
@Leon: Snow is always a problem here in Holland. Last year we had a hard winter with snow from mid december till in March. Many problems with highways and railway, trains could not ride of to much snow. Busses stopped driving it was hard to get home from work for weeks. Normaly my trip home from work takes three quarters of an hour. Last winter it took me three to four hours to get home and that week after week! Crazy for five hours of work a day! Ruud went to work by car (half an hour ride)and one day he left work at four and arrived home by ten in the evening! That was a six hour drive! It was one big traffic jam all the way home. It was a Traffic congestion, a gridlock, all over the Netherlands. I'll hope this winter won't be as bad as last year. Especially now with grandpa Frans in the hospice in Purmerend that's a one hour drive on a clear day without "normal"traffic jams.
